Our Placement Process

  • 1. Registration

    This is an opportunity for us to learn about your family’s needs. We will follow up with instructions on how to sign our client agreement and make your deposit so we can begin working together.

  • 2. Consultation

    We will schedule a call to get to know more about your family in order to create a customized job description for your family including factors such as: family lifestyle and personality characteristics as well as education, experience, and qualifications of your desired candidate.

  • 3. Recruiting

    We source for both active & passive candidates. Along with reference, background, and social media checks, we understand each candidate’s goals, personality, and work-style to ensure long-term fit. We discuss your specific job posting with each candidate and mutually agree upon their qualifications and interest in your role before sharing their profile for your consideration.

  • 4. Matchmaking

    We send you the profiles of 3-5 of our most premium candidates that have been vetted and hand-selected for your specific job opening. We share their application answers, resume, reference call transcripts, letters of recommendation, and interest form submitted for your role.

  • 5. Interviews

    We arrange a 2-part interview process between you and the candidate. First with the option to meet over Zoom or in-person, followed by an in-home interview to give the candidate a better feel for the job requirements and allow them to meet your children or key members of your household.

  • 6. Work Agreement

    At this time we will run a comprehensive background check as a part of our 7-point extensive screening process. We will draft a work agreement between you and the candidate. The placement fee is due upon signature of both parties. We are here to assist if any changes to the agreement need to be made before or after signing.

  • 7. Support

    After placement, receive peace of mind with our guarantee policy as well as resources including onboarding documents, discounts with our preferred payroll vendor, employer success guide, and FAQ.

  • Work Agreement Template

    When an offer is extended we work with both the client and the candidate to create their own domestic worker contract (also referred to as a work agreement). Setting clear expectations is the key to a successful working arrangement. This agreement is to ensure that both your employer and the employee’s rights are respected. We want your candidates to consider what is important to them in a working relationship with you as their employer in order to guarantee a successful long-term placement.

    New Hire Onboarding Tools

    Depending on your selected level of investment we will provide onboarding tools such as personality tests, household manuals, performance review guides, and employer success guides as listed in the placement packages below.

    Guarantee Policy

    You will receive a 30-180 day guarantee for your chosen candidate, depending on the placement package selected . In the unlikely event that your candidate resigns or is terminated for any reason during the first 30-180 days we will discuss your options for our replacement policy.

1:1 Matchmaking

We aim to thoroughly understand each candidate’s goals, personality, and work-style to manage expectations for the role and ensure long-term fit. Only after mutual agreement on their suitability and alignment with your standards are they hand-selected for your consideration.

Upon presenting a candidate profile with you through our internal portal our meticulous vetting process has already unfolded. Each candidate has undergone thorough scrutiny, with their qualifications and interest in your role meticulously assessed through personalized consultations.

What Makes Our Clients Unique

Requirements for Clients Hiring Through MHM

  • Positions must offer a gross hourly base wage of $30+

  • Must be willing to employ candidate legally using a payroll system and issue a W-2.

  • Must offer overtime pay for any hours over 40 in a given week.

  • Must offer typical Household Worker/ Nanny Industry standards including:

    • Guaranteed Hours

    • Paid Vacation Time

    • Paid Sick Days

    • Paid Holidays

    • Mileage Reimbursement (if candidate is required to use their own vehicle on the job)

Placement Packages

Following a free introductory consultation, we require a initial deposit of $500. This deposit is non-refundable, but will be applied towards the one-time placement fee after you have chosen a successful candidate.

All of our placements include our extensive screening process, plus extras, depending on the placement package selected.

The minimum base fee for all placements is $5,000.
